Book Review 2-16

I have read the book “ Rich Man, Poor Man”. I will review this story.
There was an old guy, Adam in a little village. One day a postman came to his village. The postman brought him a letter from his son, Saul. He gave him the letter and walked away. He called to his wife, Martha. She came out and looked at the letter. She was excited but she was also worried. However, there had been no school fifty years ago, so they could not read or write. They had to find the schoolteacher. His only son, Saul left the village and two years ago and their three daughters were married. Saul was making a lot of money in a foreign country. Martha and the schoolteacher came and many people did, too. The teacher began to open the envelope and read the letter. There was a money order in his letter. It was worth one hundred pounds. The teacher asked Adam to go to the Post Office in Darpur to get money. Everyone laughed and said that he would be a rich man. Adam also said that he could buy some food and drink, and give a party for them all. That evening, the village people talked about the money order and his money. Adam and Martha also talked about the money. We needed many things for the farm. The next morning he got up very early. It was dark and everyone was asleep. He put on his best clothes and he carried his best stick. He put the money order carefully in his pocket and he said goodbye to Martha. He walked ten miles to the main road and waited for the bus. The bus came and then he got on. It was a long way to Darpur. He bought things for his farm from the shop, Rick. There were a lot of people in the Post Office. There was a long line of people and he waited the back. Finally, it was his turn. However, the official did not server him. He had to wait and finally the official looked at him. The official asked him about his Identity Card. However, Adam did not know what Identity Card is. The official said to him that he could not give him any money without his Identity Card. He also explained about Identity Card. Adam asked him where he could buy his Identity Card. However, the official was angry and didn’t answer him. A man told Adam to go to the Ministry of the Interior. He walked to the Ministry of the Interior. He waited in another queue. He spoke to another official and asked for an Identity Card. The official told him to bring the form and three photographs of yourself and two pounds, and come back next day. He insisted that he could not come there again because he lived far from there and, he was too old. However, the official turned away. He walked to the shop of Rick, and then they began to talk. Rick showed him the way to a photographer. Adam managed to find the house. The photographer was asleep, but he came to me quickly. Adam wanted to go to Minta that afternoon, so he was in a hurry. However, that guy did not hurry and asked him to come back tomorrow morning because photographs would take twenty-four hours. Anyway, Adam gave him the money and he took the photographs. After that, Adam went back to the bus station and sat on the bus for three hours. He also had to walk tem miles back to his village. It was nighttime and he was very tired. Martha and his friends were waiting for him. He explained his wife about an Identity Card. He was so tired and managed to go to bed at last. He worked up late the next morning. The sun was already high. He was too tired to go out. That’s why he stayed at home on Wednesday. He rested and talked to the villagers about the money order. He told them about the Identity Card and the photographer. The schoolteacher filled in his application form for an Identity Card. On Thursday he traveled to Darpur again. He walked to the main road and he caught a bus. In Darpur, he walked to the house of the photographer. He knocked on the door of the house. No one came to the door. He knocked again loudly with his stick. A woman opened the door at that time. He asked her about the photographer. He got to know that the photographer was out then. A woman closed the door, but he kept waiting there for him. After a long time, the photographer came back and he smelt of beer. Adam asked him to give his photographs. However, he did not remember about it at all. He told Adam to show him the receipt for his picture. Adam shouted that the photographer did not give him a receipt. He was getting angry, so he hit the photographer hard with his stick. The photographer shouted that he was nearly killing by Adam. Lots of people ran out of their house. He hit the photographer again and two men held him. The photographer was very angry and he was very angry. Lots of people were shouting. Then a policeman came. The photographer shouted to the policeman that Adam was a thief and murderer. The policeman held and told Adam to come with him to the police station. Adam did not say anything. At the police station, the policeman asked him many questions. Finally, the policeman told Adam to go back t his village and not to come there again. He pushed Adam into the street. He went back to his village. He was tried and angry. Next day he told his story to all the villagers. The villagers were angry. Martha was also unhappy. Then in the evening the schoolteacher came to his house to help them again. The teacher gave him a letter to Mr. Sheth. The teacher said Mr. Sheth was an important man in Darpur and he was a friend of his wife’s cousin. And the letter was about Adam’s money order. He took the letter and thanked the schoolteacher. That’s why he traveled to Darpur again on Saturday, for the third time. After a long time, he found Mr. Sheth’s house. The door was opened by a tall man. He explained the tall man about the letter. He also gave him the letter. Mr. Sheth was so busy, so he was not there at the moment. Adam tried to wait for him, a large black car came and a man went into the house. A long time later, the tall man opened the door again and called Adam. He followed the tall man and went into a large room with fine carpets and big chairs. Another man was in the room and he was drinking. He was very Mr. Sheth. He said he wanted to help Adam. Adam took the money order out of his pocket. It was dirty and looked very old. He gave it to Mr. Sheth. Mr. Sheth unfolded the money order and looked at it. He said that money order was not worth one hundred pounds and was worth nothing. Adam was shocked to hear that. Mr. Sheth said Saul did not understand about money orders. It was not for that country and out of date. Mr. Sheth gave him the money order back. Adam was not hungry, but Mr. Sheth went out of the room, and then he brought him some coffee and some cakes. Mr. Sheth wanted to help Adam, so he got an idea. Mr. Sheth asked him to give his money order. Mr. Steth gave his money order to Adam. His money order was worthless. Mr. Steth was going to change his money order for Adam. And then Mr. Steth went out of the room. He would give him some money. Adam felt happy again. After a few minutes, the tall man came into the room. He gave Adam an envelope. He said to Adam that it was from Mr. Sheth and then Adam could go. He went out of the house. He walked alone the road to the bus station. He opened the envelope and he took out his money. He counted the money. It was ten pounds. He thought about his only son, Saul. His son, Saul had sent him a money order for one hundred pounds. Mr. Steth had given him ten pounds. He felt old and he felt poor again.
I think Adam was so poor man. I also hate the photographer. Though his money order his son sent was wrong, he got some money. That’s why I think he was lucky a little. This story is not so long, but it was bored to me. Anyway, it will probably be my last book review. I have reviewed some books, but it is the longest review of all. I found some funny books or bored stories through this chance. To reading books is important for me, so I will keep reading books in English. I was happy to do my best to review books in English!

Book Review 2-15

I read the book “A Pretty Face”. I will review this story.
Zoe was seventeen years. She worked in a bookstore in the little town of Newport. Zoe liked books and her works. But after work, she liked to act in plays with the Newport Player. The Newport Players did six plays every year, and Zoe was in most of them. Some plays were exciting and famous. That week, the play was Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.

Mike was eighteen years old. He was a student at Newport College, and he liked writing. One day, he wanted to be famous and write plays for the theater and television.
Newport had a newspaper. Its editor was Mike’s aunt. One morning, Mike’s aunt, Peggy asked him to write a review of Romeo and Juliet for the newspaper. Mike agreed it. That evening, he went to Newport’s Little Theater to see the play. Mike was ready to write notes for his review. Five minutes later, the play began. Zoe acted the part of Juliet’s mother. She knew all her words and spoke them well. He thought she was pretty and doing her best. He began to write about her in his notebook. Two hours later, the play ended and the audience left the theater. Mike went home and wrote his review for the newspaper. He was not good feeling. He wanted to be kind, but he thought he should be honest.
His review was that Zoe Baker was a young girl in an older woman’s costume, and she could never him believe differently.

When she saw the news page, she got angry. She checked the name of the writer. On Thursday evening the next week, Zoe and her friend Annie were drinking coffee in the Newport Café. Annie was a student at Newport College and sometimes they met at the café. Suddenly, Zoe saw a boy sitting at a table across the room. She asked Annie about his name. She got known his name and, he was the same person with the writer of the review. She was furious. She remembered what he wrote on the newspaper. She tried to bitch to him, but she did not do that. She had a good idea instead of it.

On Thursday, Mike came to the Newport Café after his writing class. He asked for a cup of coffee, and then stared to read one of his books. Some minutes later, a woman came into the café. She was carrying a magazine under her arm. She greeted and smiled at Mike. She sat in front of him and began to introduce herself. She said that she was the editor of Yes! Magazine. He knew it was a magazine about famous people. She asked him to write something for it. Mike asked her the reason why she wanted him to do. She said that it was because he had written theater reviews for the Newport weekly newspaper. She said she wanted him to write about a famous playwright in Newport. He thought if he did the job, he should write about Todd Marin, who was the only famous playwright in Newport. Todd Marin was famous for not talking to reporters from gossip magazine. He threw them out of his house. He thought it was really difficult work, but finally he agreed it.

Later that evening, Zoe was talking to Annie on the phone. She told her about her plan. It was she would stand outside Todd Marin’s house and watch Todd Marin throw Mike Morrison out.

The next morning, Mike went to Todd Marin’s house. It was a big house, and there were lots of bushes and tall trees in front of it. He did not like Yes! Magazine very much, but he thought it was an important interview. He walked up to the front door of the house. He was carrying his notebook and he had a list of questions to ask the playwright. But he was a little afraid of the famous man. Zoe followed Mike to Todd Marin’s house. Zoe was acting the part of Kate Lawson again. She had a black wig over her hair and was wearing glasses. She hid behind one of the bushes in front of Todd Marin’s house. When Todd Marin opened the door of his house, Mike began to talk quickly. Todd Marin did not like the Yes! Magazine, but he welcomed Mike into his house. Zoe could see them, but she could not hear them speaking. She just waited for Todd Marin to throw him out. Todd Marin took Mike to his study. There were hundreds of books in the room, and a big desk. Todd Marin thanked for him to tell the truth. He thought Mike was an honest young man. Mike could ask him his questions, but it was not for Yes! Magazine. Todd allowed him to ask his question if it was for the Newport Weekly News. In fact, Todd Marin read Mike’s reviews in the newspaper, so he liked his reviews. Mike wanted to write for the theater, for TV and for movies. Todd Marin sat back in his chair to listen and Mike told him the plot of his play. Mike was very nervous, but Todd Marin did not speak. He smiled at Mike and he listened to him very carefully. When at last Mike stopped speaking, Todd advised him about his reviews to make it better. Zoe stayed behind the bush and waited. An hour went by and nothing happened. She was getting impatient. She thought Todd Marin never gave interviews to gossip magazine.

After an hour and a half, Mike Morrison left Todd Marin’s study and came out of the house. He and the playwright were smiling. They talked for two or three minutes and Zoe watched them from behind the bush, and it made her amazed. After a minute or two more, they shook hands. Then Todd Marin went back into the house and Mike Morrison walked away. Mike saw Kate waiting for him. He was surprised to see her so soon. Mike did not tell a lie, so he said the truth. He said that he reported for the Newport Weekly New, so not for Yes! Magazine. He also learned about writing plays from him because he wanted to write a play for TV. Todd Marin helped him with the characters and the plot. Mike apologized to her for not having interviewed for her magazine. However, she said that she was not angry. She began to something very strange. She took off her hair and her glasses. At that time, he knew who she was. She was not Kate Lawson, editor of Yes! Magazine, and in fact she was that young actress. He was surprised and smiled at her. She told him about her feeling for his review of her. Mike felt embarrassed. She asked him whether she was a good actress or not. He finally recognized that she was a good actress. He told her that he would put that in the Newport Weekly News. He also thanked her for making him go and see Todd Marin. He did not feel embarrassed any more. He suggested to her that they should get a cup of coffee. She could not refuse a free coffee!!

At the end of the story, Mike and Zoe were reading the newspaper about Todd Marin and Zoe written by Mike.

The main characters of this book were handsome and cute. That’s why I can enjoy reading it. However, speaking of the story, I do not like it. If I were Mike, I would never forgive what Zoe was doing even if she was so cute and pretty. I guess they became lovers later because they were good looking each other. I think everything in this story went well. I believe can be difficult. I hope my life goes well like this in the future. Anyway, this story was so-so long and boring, but it was easy to understand. I will find better books than this next time!!

Book Review 2-14

I have read the book “TWISTERS!”I will tell you this story.
Rob was working in his farmyard in Texas. It was a peaceful spring day but his dog, was unhappy. He hid under a tractor and would not come out. Rob wondered if barney was ill. Suddenly the sky went dark. Hailstone as big as golf balls pelted down from the sky. Thunder rolled and lightning flashed. A few moments later there was a deathly stillness. Somehow, barney had known it.
Maybe, it is that Animals have sharper senses than human have. Many can sense changes in the weather, like just before a bad storm.
As Bob looked on, huge black clouds began to spin. They bubbled at the top like boiling milk. Gusts of wind blew straw around. Just then, a finger of cloud spiraled down from the sky. It was a twister. Rob stood rooted to the spot. The twister touched the ground. Mud and grass swirled up like smoke from a bonfire. That was only the start of it. The twister began to move. It skipped and bounced across the fields. It grew bigger, faster and dirtier as it picked up mud from the ground. Rob watched in horror as the twister went towards his neighbor’s farm. It picked up straw, tree and even a farm truck. It spun them around in its funnel. Rob sighed with relief when the twister moved away. He thought he was safe. But then the twister changed direction straight towards him! Suddenly the twister was hanging right over Rob’s farm. There was a noise like a rushing waterfall, and then the barn exploded as if a bomb had gone off inside it. Rob ran with Barney to the cellar in his house. His ears were hurting and he could hardly breathe. That’s because the air pressure inside a twister is very low. This makes people’s car ache and causes buildings to explode. Just as Rob reached the cellar, his front porch flew off with an ear-splitting CRASH! Then came a SMASH as the house windows blew in. Two minutes later, all was silent. Rob came up from the cellar. Furniture lay smashed on the floor. Most of the doors and windows were gone. Rob felt lucky to be alive. Friends helped Rob to clean up. They lived nearby but their house was not touched. Twisters can form when cold air meets warm air. The warm air is sucked up in a swirling column called a funnel cloud. It spins at great speed. Twisters contain the most deadly winds in the world. No one knows what a twister will do next. It can lift up a large truck and smash it to pieces, but leave small objects undamaged. One twister picked up a baby and set him down safely 90 meters away. The baby did not even wake up. There are lots of stories about twisters. A twister once blew away a man’s birth certificate. The twister carried it 80 kilometers then dropped it in a friend’s garden. One twister sucked up some roses and water form a vase. It dropped them in another room but it left the vase on the table. Another twister picked up a jar of pickles and carried the jar for miles without damaging it.
Twisters come in many different shapes and sizes. They can be thin, white and wispy. Or they can be big, thick and black. They can be red or green. If a twister travels across a muddy field, the mud turns it brown and very smelly. Twisters can grow bigger and faster as they go along. Some look as if they have a loop or knot in the middle. Some are wider at the bottom than at the top. Some are shaped like a tube and others look like a slice of pie.

Lots of people have seen a twister from the out side. But only a few have looked inside a twister and survived.

A farmer named Will Keller once looked up into a twister from his underground shelter. Just as he closed the door of his shelter, he saw lots of mini twisters inside the big twister. These mini twisters can rip through a building and slice it to shreds.

People in Tornado Alley are prepared for twisters. Most of them have an underground shelter outside their home. Some people in Texas have a fiberglass shelter buried in their back garden. People without a shelter have to hide in a cellar or small room in the middle of their house.

This story is a little short, but it is so-so interesting. I can learn what twister is. If I live in America in the future, I will care of twisters. In fact, when I was in Minnesota, I experienced storm. Then my host family and I went to the basement to shelter from it. Anyway, I do not want to meet any disasters.

Book Review 2-13

I read the book "L.A. Raid". I will review this story.
Lenny Samuel who lived in Los Angeles was a private detective. It was Monday morning in June. He was going to the First City Bank on Sunset to put his money in. Outside the bank he saw a woman with long blonde hair. He smiled at her. At that time, he saw a duck that was coming out of the bank. In fact, it was someone with a duck mask on. The duck had a brown bag in its left hand and in its right hand had a gun. He threw himself to the ground. The duck ran past him. He decided not to put his money in the bank. At that time, he heard a police car. An officer asked him questions for three hours. After that, he drove back to his office. Then he listened the radio news about it. He wanted to have a rest, but he got a call from the President of the First City Bank, Mr. Carter. Carter asked him to work for him. That’s why he had to go to his office. The headquarters of the First City Bank was in a tall office building. There was a private car park. He parked his old grey Chrysler. He went into the building and got into the elevator. He rode up to the tenth floor. A secretary took me to Carter’s office. It was a very big room. Everything was white. Carter was sitting at the desk and unhappy. He had lost
10000000. He said to Carter that he was expensive. However, Carter asked him to find the robber. Carter also told him about other robberies.
On Monday night, someone had railed the First City bank in Glendale Boulevard. The bank robber had dug a tunnel to the bank. He had made a hole in the floor of the bank. Then the robber had taken the money away through the tunnel. On Tuesday evening, a helicopter had flown over our bank in Main Street. The raider had come down a rope from the helicopter. He had made a hole in the roof. Then he had climbed down into the bank and robbed it. The raider had gotten hold of the rope again. Then the helicopter had lifted him out through the roof. On Wednesday morning, there was a raid at the First City Bank in Santa Monica. The robber had stopped one of the bank’s vans. The van had been full of money. The robber had not hurt the driver of the van, but he had stolen all the money. On Thursday night, the raid had been at the bank on Seventh Street. First, the robber had stolen a big excavator. Then he had driven the excavator through the glass doors of the bank. The excavator had picked up a cash machine and driven off. The police had found the excavator ten minutes later. The cash machine had been empty and the robber had gone. On Saturday morning, one of our vans had left L.A. airport. The van had been going towards the city center. The van had been carrying gold. A police car had stopped the van near Florence. But it had not been a real police car. The bank robber had been driving the car. The robber had had a gun. He had made the van driver get out. The robber had driven off in the van with the gold.

Carter promised him that he would pay
10000 to him. He got into the Chrysler and drove around all evening, but he did not have a plan. He thought the bank robbers were clever than him. He got up early on Tuesday morning. He decided to watch the banks in the city center, but nothing happened. It was midday. He would ask a bank manager about how a bank worked, so he went to the First City Bank near the City Hall. He waited outside the manager’s office. There were a lot of people in the bank. The bank manager’s office door was closed. The manager’s name was F. RIVERA. He could see someone in the office through the glass door. The door opened. A woman with long blonde hair came out. She was carrying a plastic shopping bag. She walked to the glass front doors of the bank and left. He remembered seeing her. The secretary opened the door and screamed. A man was sitting at the desk. His hands and legs were tied with rope. There was tape over his mouth. The safe in the corner of the office was open. Mr. Rivera told him about the story. According to a woman whose name was Miss. Waterbird came to see him with gun. Samuel asked him some questions about it. On Wednesday afternoon, he was sitting in his car. It was parked outside the First City Bank in Florence Avenue. A guard got out of the van. He was carrying a heavy bag of money. Suddenly, the motorbike drove between the van and the bank. There were two people on the motorbike and they were both wearing duck masks. The passenger on the motorbike took the moneybag. He tried to follow them and went to the busy streets, and then a police car came and was close behind him. The policeman took him to the police station, so he told the police everything. Later he became free. Mr. Carter was angry because he could not catch them. However, he kept his job. He thought they would come to the bank on Hollywood Boulevard. He asked Mr. Carter whether he could stay the bank on Friday night or not. He was allowed to do that. At two o’clock in the morning, he heard the noise. The someone climbed down a rope into the bank. The robber put something against the safe door, and then he moved away quickly. There was smoke everywhere. The big safe door opened slowly. A minute later, the robber came out again with some bags and then he pointed his gun at the robber. He turned the light on and pulled the mask off. It was the blonde woman. It was the same woman he had been before. Suddenly, something fell on him from the hole. It was the other robber. He dropped the gun and fell to the floor. Everything went black.
When he woke up, he was arrested by a policewoman. His hands were tied with rope. She did not believe his story and took him to the police station. She asked him a lot of question, and then she locked him in a room. Mr. Carter came to see him, but he was so angry. Mr. Carter fired him from the job. At midday, the Chief of Police came to see him. He was free, but he was not allowed to work as a detective. He managed to go back to his office. To his surprised, two people in duck masks were standing in his office. It was the bank robbers. The robbers took off their off. They were twins. They had blonde long hair. One was Lyn and the other was Liz. They told him about the Mr. Carter’s secret. To tell the truth, they were working for Carter. He paid them to rob the banks. In other words, he was robbing his own bank. He told them where the money was and Samuel was. He was so rich, but they did not like him. That is why they told him about everything. They said to him that they would leave town and go to Hawaii. Then Lyn gave him a letter. The letter told the police about Carter and the bank. Samuel closed his eyes once. The moment he opened his eyes, both women kissed him quickly and then they left. He took the letter to the police. Carter was arrested. He could be a detective again. A week later he got a phone call. He put some clothes into a suitcase and got into the Chrysler. He was going on holiday. The phone call had been from Hawaii. He would leave the town!!

I think it was the most longest book review I have ever done. I was happy to be long. Speaking of this story, it was easy, but it was too long. However, it was interesting. I want to find books such as this again. Perhaps, the next time I review one book; I will make it be longer than this. It is very hard to me and takes long time, but I want to try to do it!! Book Review 2-12

I read the book "THE GREAT FIRE OF LONDON". I will review this story.
It was the year 1666. London was an old city with lots of narrow streets. A lot of people were ill because there were rats in all the streets and the houses. One evening, a baker, Tomas and Farriner and his daughter, Harriet, were making bread. They worked quickly because they had to that bread for the king in the morning. Mary who was the barker's maid came to help. They made bread for two hours. Then Mr.Farriner wife, Anne called down to them. She said to them that they should go to bed. Thomas checked the fire was nearly out. He went up to bed, but he did not close the oven door. An hour later the baker's shop was on fire. They realized the fire and escaped from the burning house. But Mary was afraid to jump to the house next door. Thomas tried to help Marry. Just then, someone brought a ladder. Thomas, Anne and Harriet quickly climbed down. Mary could not be helped. There was a strong wind and the fire spread quickly to more houses in Pudding Lane. Just then twenty fire fighters arrived and began to bring to put water on the fire. But the fire was out of control and soon all the houses in Pudding Lane were on fire. People in the city were hurry to find the Lord Mayor. In a different part of London, Samuel Pepys was asleep in his bed. Pepys worked for the government and at home wrote a diary every day. At three o’clock in the morning, his maid came to his room and waked him up. Pepy went to the window and looked out across London. He saw a big fire. Pepy tried to go back to bed, but she did not allow him to do that. Pepy quickly put on his clothes. He went to the Tower of London. Near the Tower, he met his good friend, Richard Moore. They climbed up the hill to the Tower. Big clouds of smoke were beginning to spread across London. Belles were ringing from every church in the city. They also ran down to the River Thames to help people. They arrived at the river. Crowds of people were running down to the riverbank. The fire was in the next street then. Families left their houses with hands full. They were carrying their things away from the fire. Everybody wanted a boat on the river. A man found the Farriner family, but the family left quickly and went down the river in the boat. Pepy and Moore walked nearer to the fire. There were clouds of smoke, and thousands of rats were in the street. They were running from the burning houses. Just then, they met twenty fire fighters outside a burning building. They were putting water on the fire but it was spreading quickly. Pepys asked the chief fire fighter whether he could stop or not. He answered he could not do. He also said that he needed to ask the Lord Mayor, but nobody knew where he was. Pepys and Moore had to speak to the King. That’s why they tried to go up the river to Whitehall Palace. They went quickly up the River Thames. It was morning but the sky was black with clouds of smoke. The find was stronger, and many streets were on fire. The houses on London Bridge were burning fast, and people were jumping into the river. They arrived at the Palace of Whitehall. A crowd of men was standing outside the door. They were all talking excitedly. One guard cried that the King wanted to see Samuel Pepys. Pepys went into the King’s room. He told the King about the fire well. The king wrote a letter and asked him to give it to Thomas Bludworth was the Lord Mayor. Pepys and Moore went outside at once and jumped into the King’s coach. They drove madly through the narrow streets. In the end, Pepys found the Lord Mayor and gave him the King’s letter. The Mayor wanted to pull down houses near the fire but nobody listened to him because people did not wanted to lose their houses. Just then some of the King’s soldiers arrived. As son as the soldiers came, the Mayor came home quickly. The soldier began to pull down houses and blow up shops. It was nine o’clock on Sunday evening. Pepys and Moore went home. For three more days the Great Fire of London burned. Frightened people and hungry rats ran madly through the streets. The fire spread to the most important houses and churches in the city. Old St. Paul’s Cathedral burned day and night. Day after day the fire fighters and soldiers worked to stop the fire. On the fourth day the wind changed direction and the fire slowly stopped. The fire fighters stood and watched for the first time in days. Many people came back to look for their houses and shops, but they found nothing. At home Pepys began to write about the fire in his diary. He knew the government had to work a lot to help the people of London. Five days later, Pepys and Moore climbed up the tower of the last church in the center of London. There was nothing in the city, but only nine people died. Fifty years later London was a very different city. There were no more old narrow streets in the city center, but beautiful wide streets instead. The most important thing was there were no more rats.
This story was short, but my book review was too long. I did not know that history of London. I have never been to London, so I want to go there in the future. I especially want to go to Big Ben because it is only place that I know in London. I also want to go to Glasgow!!

Book Review 2-11

I read the book "TITANIC". I will summarize this story.
When the White Star Line announced the completion of the "super ship"-the TITANIC-in 1912, they said that she was the greatest ship ever built: luxurious, unsinkable and unbelievably. Titanic was ready to set sail from England, teeming with more than a thousand passengers. Crowds on the dock were waving flags and handkerchiefs. Passengers were waving good-bye to friends and family. After three days at sea, the trip has seemed like a holiday for most of the passengers. But soon, the Titanic will be entering an area of the North Atlantic Ocean where icebergs float. All day the Titanic has received iceberg warning in Morse code over the wireless. The lookouts saw a dark object looming ahead. It was an iceberg and the Titanic was heading straight toward it. With no time to waste, the First Officer called for the ship's wheel to be turned as far as possible. Slowly, the ship started to veer away from the iceberg, but it was too late. There was a slight bomb and a ripping noise as the iceberg scrapes the starboard side of the Titanic. Down below, the men working in one of the boiler rooms were almost swept off their feet as water gushed into the room. Within minutes the water was waist-high. The Captain knew that the ship was going to sink and there were not enough lifeboats to get all the passengers off safely. Not far from the panic in the boiler rooms, many passengers were still fast asleep, unaware of the collision. Very soon all the passengers were ordered on deck with their life jackets on. The crew began to direct the passengers into the boats. As the lifeboats were lowered, lights were seen on the horizon-another ship was out there. The Titanic's crewmembers had a way to get its attention. They fired distress rockets that exploded like fireworks in the sky. Then they used the Morse lamp. But there was no response. The bow sank farther down slowly. The band played on, trying to keep the passengers clam. But there was fear. The last wooden lifeboat was lowered, but more than 1,500 people were still on the ship. Their only hope of escape was in the last collapsible boat about to be launched. The music stopped, but the ship's lights were still glowing in the dark. As the stern rose higher into the air, everything inside the ship slid to the front. Every object on board crashed down and piled up. Out on the deck there are still hundreds of passengers. Some were clinging desperately to the rails. Other lost their grip and fell into the sea. Those wearing life jackets were kept afloat, but the water was ice cold and they would soon freeze to death if they were not rescued. The Titanic's lighted flicker as she plunged. People in the water screamed for help but their cries soon died down. The survivors in the lifeboats had rowed away from the ship, fearing that they would be sucked down. But some sailors decided to row back to the floating wreckage of the Titanic. They wanted to see if anyone was still alive. They rowed through hundreds of frozen bodies and found just four survivors. The survivors had been at sea for several hours without food, water or warm clothing. Many were almost frozen to death. Suddenly, they saw rockets in the distance. Another ship was on its way. It was the Carpathia. Her crew had heard the Titanic's distress. She had arrived too late to save the people in the water but not too late to save the people in the lifeboats. One by one, the Titanic survivors got on the Carpathia. The Carpathia headed for New York and the journey took three days.
I got known the story from the movie Titanic. I like the film very much. Leonardo Dicaprio looked cool in the film. However, I want to travel all over the world with gorgeous ship like Titanic!!

Book Review 2-10

I read the book"Picture Puzzle". I tell about this story.
It was a fine summer morning. Pete was a college student. He wanted to something exciting to happen. He went to a large shopping mall to get the Stephen King book. Then something exciting did happen. A girl ran through the crowd of people in the mall. Suddenly, she ran up to Pete and pushed something into his hand. Pete tried to talk with her, but she disappeared into the crowd. Pete looked at the thing in his hand. It was a film cassette. A minute later, Pete saw a man pushing through the crowd. He was a fat man and wearing a red shirt. He was in hurry and finding something. Pete thought that he was looking for the girl and she was afraid of him. Pete decided to solve the puzzle by himself. First, he developed the pictures on that film. There were only six pictures in it. Five of the photos were pictures of the girl with her friends and a young child. The sixth photo was a picture of two men. One of them was tall and thin. The other man was the guy he watched at the mall. In the picture, the two men were standing in a churchyard. A small part of the church was in the picture, too. When he saw the tall man, he remembered seeing him in the City News, which was the city's evening newspaper. Pete looked at the clock in the shopping mall and then had to go to college. However, he thought the girl was more important than college. He went to the City News office to find the newspaper about that tall guy. At last, he got to know him in a newspaper. He was Ronald Thurber and a lawyer of Donald Zetter, who had killed James Black. Pete thought that the big guy was a member of Zetter's gang. Next, he tried to find that churchyard. Two hours later, he found the same church as that picture's. Pete walked up to the church and he opened the heavy door. There was a priest inside. Pete asked him about the two and the girl, but he did not know either of them. It was lunchtime and Pete was hungry. There were some shops in the street near the church. One of them sold sandwiches and drinks, so he went into it. He ordered a chicken sandwich and a coke. He also asked a clerk about them. The moment he asked, a woman at the back of the shop came and talked about her. Pete got to know about her well. She was Amy Bates who lived in a flat near the shop. And then he went to her flat, Richfield House. There were six bell-pushes by the big red door. There was a name next to each bell-push. One of the names was Amy Bates. Pete put on the bell-push and rang the bell. Pete waited and looked up. He saw a man who leaning from one of the windows. It was the big man. Pete greeted and asked him about Amy. Then he asked Pete to come into his room. He told Pete that Amy would come soon. That's why Pete came there and sat down. Suddenly, the guy asked Pete about the film and there was a gun in his hand. Pete gave him the photos. When Pete gave him the film cassette from his pocket slowly, the guy held out his hand. Suddenly, Pete turned round and threw the cassette out of the window. There were some people in the street below the window. A woman saw the film cassette and pick it up. When the guy looked down into the street, Pete jumped towards him. The two men fought and the guy fired the gun. The people in the street heard the sound of the gun. Pete pushed him. He fell on the floor. He tried to kill Pete, but Pete moved quickly and then he fell out of the window. Pete ran to the bathroom door and helped Amy. Amy told the policemen about the story of the guys. According to her, they wanted to help Zetter from prison. The policemen found £50,000 inside the envelope. After they left the house, Pete and Amy walked away together.
Though the book is level 2, it is so easy to read. I coould read it soon, but I was lazy to type review. I took a long time to review this story. Anyway, I was happy to finish. I will find books like this again.

Book Review 2-9

I read the book "MR BEAN IN TOWN". I will tell about Mr. Bean before I summarize this story. Mr. Bean is a character of British comedy program starring Rowan Atkinson. Rowan also wrote the stories himself. I review the story about Steak Tartare.
It was Mr. Bean's birthday. Mr. Bean put on a clean shirt and his best coat, trousers and shoes. Then he drove to a restaurant in the center of town. He arrived at eight o'clock and went inside. It was very nice restaurant. Everybody was wearing their best clothes, and there were flowers on every table. The manager met him at the door and took him to a table. The manager pulled the chair away from the table. Then he waited for Mr. Bean to sit down. However, Mr. Bean did not sit down and looked at him. When the manager went away, Mr. Bean sat quietly. He took a birthday card and an envelope out of his jacket. Then he wrote something and put it on the table. After a minute or two, Mr. Bean pretended to see the card for the first time. The manager arrived with the menu and gave it to Mr. Bean. He realized that everything was very expensive. He put the money on to a plate and began to count up it. Finally, he ordered Steak tartare. After that, a waiter arrived at Mr. Bean's table with a bottle of wine. The waiter put some wine in Mr. Bean's glass and he had a drink. He smiled and waiter tried to put more wine into the glass. He didn't know about wine manners and he quickly put his hand across the glass. The waiter looked at him strangely. Then Mr. Bean took the knife and started to play with it. The woman at the next table looked at him angrily. He also played with his napkin. A minute later, the waiter arrived with his food. There was a large cover on the plate. Mr. Bean couldn't see the food, but he gave the waiter the money on the table. Customers don't usually give a waiter money when he arrives with the food. The waiter didn't say anything and took the money. Mr. Bean was happy because he thought that he was doing everything right. When he saw his dish, his smile disappeared. He thought they didn't cook that meat and could not eat it. He wanted to change his dish, but he couldn't ask the manager. He was afraid that people thought he was stupid. Then he thought he would never ask for steak tartare. The waiter asked him whether he was all right or not. He smiled and pretend eat some meat. He tried to hide the meat in any ways. He had an idea. First, He put the meat into the mustard pot and put the cover on it. Next, he took the flower out of the vase. He then put some meat into the vase and pushed the flowers in on top of it. He also pushed some of meat inside the roll. Then, he put more meat under the small plate and into the sugar pot and so on. Finally, he put some meat into a violinist's trousers. He thought everything went well. When the waiter walked past with some plates of food, he fell over Mr. Bean's foot. The plates fell on to Mr. Bean's table and on to the floor. The moment the people looked up the waiter, he got an idea. He pretended to be very angry and blamed the waiter that his meat was spread around his table by him. The manager came and apologized him. He invited Mr. Bean to another table. The violinist began to play "Happy Birthday" to him. Mr. Bean smiled. The waiter put a plate in front of Mr. Bean. The manager smiled and took off the cover. Mr. looked down and stopped smiling. There was Steak tartare in front of him!
Recently, I got to like Mr. Bean. He is a good comedian like Charles Chaplin. I can enjoy with his joke, but I think reading his joke like this is not interesting at all. Then I found his movie about Steak Tartare from You tube. You should watch it than read my review.

Book Review 2-8

I read the book" Kidnap!". I summarize the story.
It was winter. Tom lived in America as a cartoonist. One day, he went out
with his car to find topics for his work. Firstly, he went to a coffee shop in a bookstore. Then he noticed that some white paper fell from a man's hand. He picked it up. He tried to give it to the man, but he could not. Tom found a map in the paper and he put it into his coat. When he got a cup of coffee, there was a woman with red hair near him. He tried to draw her with the paper. After that, he saw the woman standing in front of her car. She said to him that her car had been broken. She asked him to lend his cell phone and then they saw the paper. Tom told her about the men in the bookstore. He thought that a kidnap plan was written in the paper. There was the mark of high school in the paper. The woman's name was Rita. Tom wanted to know the high school to tell the police, so Rita tried to help him find the place. That's why they began to find the high school with his car before someone was kidnapped. At the same time, in Boston a famous movie star and her daughter left their house to go the high school. The movie star's name was Jodie-Anne and her daughter name was Anastasia. When they dropped at a gas station, Tom realized that the men wanted to kidnap Anastasia from a magazine. He told about that to Rita and then her face turned scary. She had a gun in her hand and dug it into him. She was a member of the kidnap group. Rita said that she and the men would kidnap Anastasia and ask her mother for three million dollars. Rita also asked tom to drive. After driving for ten minutes, Tom stopped behind a blue van. There Rita met the men. Just then, a big black car was coming to them. Tom was entered into the van by them. There were Jodie-Anne and Anastasia in the car. Suddenly, everything happened. Rita and the men kidnapped Anastasia. One of the men was Joe and the other was Max. Joe was shot by her bodyguard. However, Rita and Max took her away with the van. Her bodyguard couldn't stop the van. They drove at high speed, but the van skied on the ice and snow. Tom and Anastasia got a chance to get away from them. When they ran away, Max could not get out of the van. Rita found them. Tom jumped on Rita and knocked the gun from her hand. They ran very fast and Rita also followed them. Tom and Anastasia managed to cross an old bridge, but Rita fell into the river. She couldn't swim. Though she was killer, Tom tried to help her. When he tried to do that, many police officers came. Tom was suspected of being a kidnapper by police officers, but Anastasia told them the truth. Finally, they could go home. Tom was happy that he could get great ideas for his comic strip.
This book is level 1 and it is almost comic. However, it was too long for me and made me tired. This story is too unbelievable to enjoy. Though I said so, I will try to read comic books like this!!

Book Review 2-7

I read the book "LOST LOVE and Other Stories". There were 6 short stories. I will summarize Lost love.
There was a young guy who lived in a city. He wanted to see the country, so he went there with his car. When he drove his car, his car stopped suddenly. He needed to get some petrol and should walk a town. When he got lost, he saw the girl. She was pretty. She asked him to come with her to the village. He followed her. Her name was Mary. There was a village, and it was old and pretty. She invited her house and then he met her parents. They were nice, but looked poor. Their foods were not so good. He liked her, so he didn't mind about it especially. He stayed all day and enjoyed having dinner with them. Suddenly, she asked him to leave there that night. She said to him that there was dangerous there. He didn't want to leave, but had to do that. It was midnight. He walked and walked. He managed to find a town and then got known about that village. One man said to him " There was a village there, but it isn't there now." The man also told him about the history of that village. There happened a war in that village 350 years ago and then people in the village were killed by Oliver Cromwell. He couldn't believe his story. The man also told to him an interesting story. For one day every ten years, it lived again and went away again for another ten years. If a person didn't leave before morning or he would never leave. He loved Mary, so he decided to go back to the village. He now had to wait two months. The village would come again. He would find her again and never leave before morning. He would stay with her.
I will also summarize the other story "The doll" shortly.
Mr Brown was lonely guy. One day, he bought a old doll at a small shop. It was strange and odd doll, but he liked it. He met some unbelievable accidents since he got that doll. He became unhappy day by day. For example, he was disliked by people. He wanted to get it away from him. He tried to threw it again and again. However, it always came back to him. That's why he tried to burn it at his garden. The fire got bigger and bigger. Suddenly there was a loud cry, and people run of his house. There was a big fire round the house and garden. They couldn't find him, but there was a doll near the fire. It was not a pretty doll and there was a smile on its face.

I like this book well. Each stories were short, but interesting for me. This book is level 2, but easy to read. It did not take much time to read. Speaking of Lost love, the guy was crazy for me. He didn't meet Mary so much, but he kept loving her so long time. I think there are many girls like her in the world. I know what this story wants to tell, so I don't say about it anymore. Talking of The doll, I don't like this story so much. The ending was different to what I had expected. I expected its happy end. However, I will recommend my friends to read this book!!

She also liked him. They finally married, but he still loved Gina. He wanted to marry Gina soon, so he wanted to kill Carrie and get her money. However, he did not know how to kill Carrie, so he got idea from another movie In High Drama. In the movie, the guy took the girl on the roof and then killed her. The police thought she fell. That's why Brad tried to do like that, but it was failure. It worked in the movie, but it didn't work for him. Then, two days later, Carrie had gone anywhere. He tried to find her and called the police. They came to the house and asked him a lot of question. A week later the police came back to the house. They talked about a killer Mr. Black who killed three women in Rosedale. They thought that he was Carrie's killer, too. When he heard it, he pretended to be sad. That night he went to bed and thought about money. He did not wait to get her money, so he tricked the police. He thought the police thought Carrie was dead and got a lot of money soon. He also watched the movie Fat Cats. It was about a poor American boy who got money from his rich aunt. He called Gina. He told her that they would be rich and go to Paris. A few days later he met Gina and they went to the airport. When they arrived there, two policemen walked toward them. They went to a small room and talked about Carrie Black and her money. Gina did not say anything and smile at him. Then the door opened and a girl walked in. It was Carrie. To tell the truth, Gina and Carrie became friends long time ago. They liked each other so much. When they talked about their boyfriend and husband, they were same person. Carrie knew that he wanted to kill her. That's why Gina and Carrie made a plan to arrest him. He was put into prison. After that, he told this story to his new friend Joe in prison. Joe looked at the newspaper on the table. Then he got known about Gina and Carrie. They wrote his story and sent it to some movie produces. They got Oscar and became millionaires!!
This story is easy to read, but not so interesting. It was too fantastic. Brad is a main character, but not hero. In that way, this book is nice. However, if I would be Gina, I did not help Carrie. I also never forgive Brad.

It was very hot day. Mark sat under a tree and then he found something on the ground. It was a flat and yellow stone. Mark pick it up and began to clean it with his hands. Suddenly there was a white light in his eyes and Mark closed eyes. He could not hear and listen anything. Ten second later the light and the wind stopped. Mark opened his eyes and saw hundreds of ships and men. He was standing on a beach then. He thought where he was now. He put the yellow stone in his pocket. He heard his name called by a guy. He asked Mark to work. He also met a guy hose name was Andros. Andros and Mark walked for another ten minutes. At the top they stopped and watched a big wooden horse. Many people worked for making it. Andros said to him that this horse was going to win the war for them Greek. However, they had a problem because they didn't have a stone for the second eye. Mark remembered the stone in his pocket, so he gave it for them. They were happy and asked Mark to come with them in the horse the next night. That evening Mark met an old woman whose name was Ana. He got known lots of stories like Greece, the war and the beautiful princess from her. Next morning the horse was ready. Greek soldiers pulled it the gates of Troy. Mark was sitting in the horse's head and waited all afternoon under the hot. Mark did not know what would happen then. Suddenly the gates opened and Trojan soldiers walked out. They pulled the horse inside and shut the gates again. When Trojan went to bed and Troy was quiet, the Greeks climbed out of the horse. They began to war. A minute later there were thousands of Greek soldiers. The street was full of smoke. Mark run down a small street very fast, but he met two Trojans with swords. Mark shouted for them. He heard his name called by his sister then and suddenly waked up. It was 4 o'clock and the bus was leaving in a minute. Mark tried to look at the yellow stone in his hand, but it was nothing. When Mark went to the bus, he met an old woman. She had lots of small wooden horses in a basket. Mark bought a horse and looked at the woman. She gave him smiles and said goodbye for him.
This story is too short and beyond my capacity. I think Mark is an English boy, but he and Greeks can communicate with English. That is why I don't like this story.

Book Review 2-2

I read the book "THE WHITE ORYX" I will review this story.
Mandy Brown was in the desert with Abdullah. She should take photos of the oryx for her book. Abdullah was an oryx ranger. He helped her find oryxes. With the radios they could find oryxes. Suddenly there was a noise behind them. It was the big radio in the car. The oryx looked up and ran away quickly. She thought there were poachers near them. Mandy got into the car and they drove away quickly across the desert. The sand made a long yellow cloud behind the car. Poachers usually shot the young oryx and sold them, so they were really dangerous. Mandy found some blood in the sand and then saw an oryx with a big hole in its neck. She was already dead. He thought the dead oryx had her baby. They guessed poachers killed that oryx. So they called police. They began to find her baby and drove quickly across the desert again. They could see the cloud of sand behind the poachers and they were very near them. Suddenly a man with a gun was coming to them. They thought they were killed by him. They tried to go away from him with his car, but his car didn't move. Then there was a very big noise and they saw a helicopter of the police. The police came down near the poachers. The poachers quickly put their guns on the sand and put up their hands. Abdullah and Mandy ran to the truck and found the young oryw there. The mother orywx was dead, but that young oryx was fine. Then she took photos of the police and their helicopter. She also took photos of the poachers, too. It was good day for her because she got some very interesting pictures for her book about the animal of the desert.
It was a little short story but interesting. I like stories like this because it is easy to read and I can enjoy reading. Anyway, I thought Arabic names are difficult to read in English. I do not know how to pronounce "Abdullah". I will learn how to pronounce it someday!

There were a lot of coconuts and clean water. They began to live there and named the island Tinkers Island. They lived there happily for a year. One morning, she saw a ship and it was coming to the island. They were afraid that it was the Black Star and had to ride it again. Twenty minutes later, the three men were on Tinkers Island. One of the men had a gun and pointed it at Jenny and Sam. He did not kill them and talked with them. At last, he suggested that they go to America with him. The next day, they rode on the Red Rose.
This story was very read and I could read this story for with 5 minutes. This story developed very speedy. Especially, I was surprised that her father was arrested because of st rage reason. When I found this story, I though it was similar to the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. I realized that it was another story.

I read the book" SALLY'S PHONE ". I review this story.
On Thursday morning, Sally gave call from her boyfriend Andrew. Andrew was rich, but he was too egoistic. He always ordered her whatever he wanted. He asked her to meet his new boss at six o'clock and wear her blue skirt then. She couldn't wear the skirt and the moment she said so, he cut off the call. When she was in train and he called her again. She went to work and there she told her friends about Andrew. Then he called her once again. They told her to break up with him. They went out at lunchtime to find a new skirt for that meeting. Sally bought a red skirt instead blue. Another friends went back to work, but Sally went into a cafe. She bought a coffee and sat down. She phoned her mother. Next to Sally, Paul was fishing his coffee and talked to his friend on his phone. The moment he stood up, he dropped her bag on the floor. He put down his phone and pick up the bag. He apologized to her for that. He pick up his phone and went out of the cafe. She also went to back to work. Paul was in his office then his phone rang. It was from Andrew. They didn't know each other, so Andrew cut off the call soon. Then Paul tried to call his mother and found "Mum" on the phone. Though he pushed it, he talked with a stranger. The person was Shally's mother and then he got this phone number. Sally also got call and it was from Paul's sister. She thought it was a wrong number. Paul phoned his true phone and then Shally answered. They decided to meet to change phones after she finished work. He suggested to her they meet in Queen's Square at six o'clock. She arrived there, but it was difficult to find Paul. They managed to meet each other. The moment they saw each other, they fall in love. She ignored promise with Andrew and went to the party of his sister with Paul!!
This is love story, but I don't think it is good story. I could image this story end before I finished reading it. They fall in love each other very quickly. I sympathize with Andrew. I can't believe they loved each other. They just liked their looking. Anyway, this story is very easy to read and understand. I will read books like this.

Book Review1-11

I read the book" The Big Picture". I talk about this story.
Kenji Harada is a photographer and has a Nikon camera and a darkroom in his flat. He sometimes gets a lot of money for his photos, but sometimes very little. Now he is not so rich. He had his family, but they couldn't live together. One day, he saw a famous sumo star Takahanada and his new girlfriend Kumiko Okada at the street! He took the photo about them soon. He expected he could sell the photo for millions of yen. He got into the taxi after that. Then he looked another taxi next to his taxi and in a man who had a gun. The man tried to aim him. So the taxi driver stared to go very fast. He managed to escape from the man. He went to back to his flat later and everything in his flat was broken. He telephoned the police and two policemen came. But they were not good and went back soon. Later he went to Left Luggage at Tokyo Station and then he put the envelope with the film in locker93. The moment he went out of the station, a big fat man took him away. The man was Yakuza and asked him where the film was. He answered it was in Left Luggage at Shibuya Station and number42. The fat man put something over his mouth and tied his arms to the chair with ropes. He kept waiting in the dark room for a long time. The man came again and started to take the things off his eyes and mouth and take the ropes off. He thought it was chance to escape. So he pushed the fat man and managed to escape. Then he read the newspaper. According to it, Yakuza gang man Toru Sato killed in Tokyo Street. It was the street where he took the photograph of Takahanada and Kumiko Okada. He went to Tokyo Central Police Station soon. He told Chief Inspector everything quickly. And they went to Tokyo Station and there arrested the man. The man was murder and killed Toru Sato. Later, he knew the reason why he was aimed. Hiromitsu Shioiri and dead Toru Sato appeared on his picture with Takahanada and Kumiko!! He sold the photo for sixty million yen and became rich. So he began to live with his lovely family in the country.
This story is too long to summarize and too strange. I think this author is foreigner who makes an ironical remark about Japanese culture. I was surprised that this story looked fiction a lot. It makes foreigners have bad image for Japan. I don't like this story so much. Next time I want to read a good story about Japan!!

Book Review1-10

I read the book "Rip Van Winkle and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". These are two stories in this book. I review the story Rip Van Winkle.
A man lived in a small town in America and his name was Rip Van Winkle. He was a farmer and had family, but he didn't like working. He liked going to the bar, so his wife was always angry with him. One day, Rip and his dog went the mountains all day. When they started to go down the mountain, he heard his name called. Then he saw an old man who had a big barrel. Rip tried to talk with him, but he said nothing. Rip helped him bring his big barrel and they went to a big building in the mountain. There Rip met another old men. They began to drink from the barrel and Rip had a drink from it, too. The old men were strange, but he was not afraid. It was late in the evening, but he stayed with the men and began to sleep. When he opened his eyes, he was under a tree and his dog wasn't there. He stared to go to his town by himself. He looked at the houses and people in the town. The houses and people were not the same. He tried to find his wife and children, they were not there. Rip walked the bar, but the bar was not the same. He tried to talk with people and then he realized he became an old man. A young woman came to him and they talked a little. He knew she was his daughter! According to her, 20years had passed since he went to the mountain and his wife was dead. And the war between America and Britain happened during his missing. Many people didn't believe his story, but one person believed him. Then the people in the town began to believe him. Rip lived with his daughter and her family. He had new friends and often talked them about the war with Britain and their new country, the United States of America!
This story is too short and not so good for me. I think this story is similar to Japanese fairy story "Urashimataro". But I can't satisfy this ending. I expected he returned to be a young man. But he just kept living as old man. It is too short to enjoy this story. I want to change another ending!
