Book Review 2-1

I read the book" WHO WANTS TO BE A STAR?” I will summarize this story.
Tina Daniels was thirteen years old and she was a star. She was so popular, but she was not happy at all. Her mother wanted her to get a lot of money, but she didn’t. She wanted a quiet life and hated her mother. One day she had an idea. Her school friend, Mary had a grandmother called Mrs. White. Tina decided to visit her without her mother’s permission. She went to the city station and there bought a ticket for Stonechurch. Tina arrived there and saw Mrs. White. Tina did not tell her about herself well. She didn’t tell her that she was a star. However, Mrs. White welcomed her kindly and allowed her to stay there for a week. Mrs. White didn’t have a television or radio, but it made her happier. She didn’t like city’s life at all. She began to experience quite life from then. When she took a walk with Mrs. White, she saw some lambs. She and Mrs. White also saw some hedgehogs at the garden and feed them. Suddenly, a big fox, which had chicken in its mouth appeared in front of her. That chicken was Mrs. White’s, so Mrs. White got angry at the fox. Then Mrs. White told her about other chickens’ feeling. She learned a lot about country life from Mrs. White. One day, However, Mrs. White read the postman’s newspaper and she found whom Tina was. She wanted to stay with Mrs. White longer and didn’t want to go back home. Mrs. White had one good idea and tried to make her meet her mother. Her mother was happy to see her again, but she still wanted her daughter to be a star. Mrs. White explained her idea that Tina should go to her friend’s school on the island of Guernsey, between England and France. Her mother managed to agree and Tina could go to that school. There she enjoyed her school life and got a lot of new friends. She was a just girl and not a star anymore.
I think this story is so simple and a little boring. However, I want to experience country life like her. I like animals like squirrels, chipmunks, bunnies and so on. When I was in Minnesota, I would often watch them so often. It was one of my enjoyments to find wild them. I am a little sad that I can find them here. I want to visit US to find them again!!
