Tomorrow

Tomorrow I will leave Japan for America. I will stay there for a month. This is the longest trip in my life. I am very looking forward to staying with my host family. I want to blogging in America, but I don't know it is possible or not. I will enjoy staying there a lot.^^ See you soon!!

It was a nice chance for me to making my blog at the writing class. I didn't know how to make blog until I became a sophomore. At the first time, few people read my blog and I did not receive comments so much. I was always looking forward to getting comments. Nice present from Yukari- san

Today I received a nice present from Yukari-san at the psychological class. I was very surprised that she gave me present. Her present was a picture book with her letter. She wanted me to read that book and make me relieve before my departure for America. I am very glad for her kindness.

Miffy Cup

Recently, I gathered Miffy point seals at LAWSON to get Miffy goods. If you gather 30 points, you can get Miffy goods. I often buy something there and sometimes received point seals from my friends and my circle members. So I could gather point seals easily. ^^ Fortunately, I didn't have to spend my money so much. Today I changed point seals into Miffy cup. I got a Miffy cup at last!!

Book Review1-13

I read the book "TINKERS ISLAND". I review this story.
Jenny Tinker was fourteen years old and lived with her father Sam in London. They worked in Convert Garden market. One day, Jenny saw a man who was running and got a watch in his hand. He gave the watch to Sam suddenly and run away anywhere. Then two policemen came and told Sam to come with them. They did not listen Jenny's story. Jenny didn't have a mother and any brothers and sisters. She went to see Peter Stone who worked in the market. He told her that her father would be sent to Australia. A week later, she watched a big ship whose name was the Black Star. One of the men on it was her father. She hit on an idea to help him. She asked the ship's captain to give her a job. She could get it and worked very hard on the Black Star for six weeks. One night, she went to the captain's room and stole his key. Then she could help her father and they escaped from the ship by a small boat. After eight days, they found an island. Then they were very tired, hungry and thirsty. There were a lot of coconuts and clean water. They began to live there and named the island Tinkers Island. They lived there happily for a year. One morning, she saw a ship and it was coming to the island. They were afraid that it was the Black Star and had to ride it again. Twenty minutes later, the three men were on Tinkers Island. One of the men had a gun and pointed it at Jenny and Sam. He did not kill them and talked with them. At last, he suggested that they go to America with him. The next day, they rode on the Red Rose.
This story was very read and I could read this story for with 5 minutes. This story developed very speedy. Especially, I was surprised that her father was arrested because of st rage reason. When I found this story, I though it was similar to the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. I realized that it was another story.

Happy Birthday to Me

Today it was my birthday and I became 20 years old at last!!

Today I went shopping in the Kumamoto downtown with my mother. There we bought some clothes, bags and so on for America. We got tired and went to a cake shop" Swiss". I ate Mille Crepes there. It was really nice!! Maybe, it was my birthday cake.

Tonight I had dinner with my family at the Chinese restaurant " Kouran-tei". There were also my grandfather and grandmothers. My grandparents like this restaurant, so they often take my family there. We enjoyed eating and chatting there tonight. We talked about trip and so on. My grandfather likes taking photos and he took a lot of photos about us there. I also took a lot of photos about my family with my digital camera. Additionally, I could eat my favorite dish Ebi-mayo that is deep-fried shrimp with mayonnaise. I really enjoyed staying with them there!!

Today I walked for a long time, so I was so tired. > <

Essay6

20 years in the future introduction myself

I am Ayumi and 40 years old now. I live with my family in abroad.
My husband is a foreigner and our children are half and half. We live in big house with big yard and have some pets. I am a housewife, but sometimes work as a Japanese teacher. My husband is a hard worker and loves us a lot. I have three children. My children have both Japanese and English names and can speak both English and Japanese. One of my pets is dog. His name is Cody. We like him very much and often go to park with him. He is very clever and brings newspaper every morning. My husband and I have recorded our children’s growth on home video since they were babies. We go to a church every Sunday and sometimes enjoy barbecue in our yard. We like house parties, so we hold house parties and invite friends in our house. We also like to travel somewhere and our favorite spot is Disneyland in California. We visit Japan once every year to see my parents. My parents can’t speak English well, but my husband and children can talk with them in Japanese. It is no problem for them to communicate. We invite my sister or friends’ children from Japan into our house during summer to make them do home stay. We take them anywhere they want to go by our car. We hope they get good memories in their mind. My husband is really nice and kind man, so he never forgets our wedding anniversary. We sometimes go to date without our children and eat dinner in a restaurant. He helps our children do their homework and likes to play sports with them. Our children are sometimes good but sometimes not. When they do something bad, we get angry with them. We never use violence and we just lecture them to make them think about themselves. We often go shopping in a mall together every weekend by our car. We sometimes eat lunch there and buy many things to live. The youngest child is easy to be lost, so I order the oldest children to watch him. There is also a theater in the mall, so when we are free, we watch movie together.
We try to stay together the most time as possible as. We always share the happiness a lot. We keep good family ship.

Last teenager day

Today it is last 19 years old day. I will be 20 years old tomorrow. I got a lot of friends from all over the world since I was 19 years old. It was nice age for me. ^ ^

Toady it is historical day for me, but the weather is not so good. A strong typhoon is coming here. I stay at home all day. I just do my homework and study for tests. I hope it will be good day tomorrow!!

Postponed test

Today my teacher postponed English introduction test. The test was scheduled today. No one knew it was postponed till the bare time the class began. I wanted to know that news earlier. To tell the truth, I slept less than 4 hours for the test. I was not sleepy at all today because I drank cafe au lait on this morning. Surely, I wasn't confident in taking that test today. I also don't want to take it next week. I can't prepare for America!! > <

Expensive Chocolate

This is a big chocolate. According to my father, it is an expensive chocolate. We were given by my grandmother's relative who lives in Tokyo.

There are marshmallows and peanuts in this chocolate.

It is very hard to eat. I tried to eat it, but I couldn't cut it with fork easily. So I began to shave a part of chocolate. The harder I shaved it, the less I had interest in eating it. I finally ate it a little and didn't remember this taste so much. It is still in our refrigerator. My mother seems to eat it little by little everyday.

Book Review1-12

I read the book" SALLY'S PHONE ". I review this story.
On Thursday morning, Sally gave call from her boyfriend Andrew. Andrew was rich, but he was too egoistic. He always ordered her whatever he wanted. He asked her to meet his new boss at six o'clock and wear her blue skirt then. She couldn't wear the skirt and the moment she said so, he cut off the call. When she was in train and he called her again. She went to work and there she told her friends about Andrew. Then he called her once again. They told her to break up with him. They went out at lunchtime to find a new skirt for that meeting. Sally bought a red skirt instead blue. Another friends went back to work, but Sally went into a cafe. She bought a coffee and sat down. She phoned her mother. Next to Sally, Paul was fishing his coffee and talked to his friend on his phone. The moment he stood up, he dropped her bag on the floor. He put down his phone and pick up the bag. He apologized to her for that. He pick up his phone and went out of the cafe. She also went to back to work. Paul was in his office then his phone rang. It was from Andrew. They didn't know each other, so Andrew cut off the call soon. Then Paul tried to call his mother and found "Mum" on the phone. Though he pushed it, he talked with a stranger. The person was Shally's mother and then he got this phone number. Sally also got call and it was from Paul's sister. She thought it was a wrong number. Paul phoned his true phone and then Shally answered. They decided to meet to change phones after she finished work. He suggested to her they meet in Queen's Square at six o'clock. She arrived there, but it was difficult to find Paul. They managed to meet each other. The moment they saw each other, they fall in love. She ignored promise with Andrew and went to the party of his sister with Paul!!
This is love story, but I don't think it is good story. I could image this story end before I finished reading it. They fall in love each other very quickly. I sympathize with Andrew. I can't believe they loved each other. They just liked their looking. Anyway, this story is very easy to read and understand. I will read books like this.

Heavy rain

Today it was the heavy rain in Kumamoto. We had a lot of rain on the morning. Yesterday it rained heavily. I had firth class, so I left my home for school while it was raining heavily. When I arrived at school, I saw few people. There was only one person in a classroom. I though there was no school, but the first class began. I don't like the heavy rain and it makes me dismal.

Today I met my British friend at the Bakery after the fourth period.
I got a very nice present from him then!! It was my portrait drawn by him.

To tell the truth, I gave him his portrait drawn by me before. So he drew me secretly for me. I always draw portraits for friends, so it was amazing that I received my portrait. We were able to exchange our drawings each other!!


We enjoyed chatting for about one hour there and I could learn English from him. I learned that Northern Irish English is similar to American English. Anyway, It was nice time.

Traveler's check

Today I went to a bank with my grandmother before my school. I exchanged Japanese money for Traveler's checks there. It was twice that I did it, so I know about that a little. I like traveler's check than credit card. To my sadly, the yen had been weak against the dollar then. Anyway, I could prepare something for America!!

Rainy season

Now it is the rainy season in Kumamoto. We have a lot of rain everyday. I don't like the rainy season because I can't go to school by bicycle. Riding a bicycle is the fastest way to go to school for me. It takes within 15 minutes by bike to go there. When it rains in the morning, I consider whether I should wear raincoat or walk or get on the bus. I sometimes wear raincoat to ride bike, but I get wet with rain. If I try to walk to go there, it takes 30 minutes at least. I used to walk, but recently my school bag is too heavy. I get tried by the time I arrive there. But If I try to get on the bus, I have to walk for ten minutes to go the bus stop and buses don't come on time. It takes time as same as walking eventually. It is very annoy problem. > <

Book Review1-11

I read the book" The Big Picture". I talk about this story.
Kenji Harada is a photographer and has a Nikon camera and a darkroom in his flat. He sometimes gets a lot of money for his photos, but sometimes very little. Now he is not so rich. He had his family, but they couldn't live together. One day, he saw a famous sumo star Takahanada and his new girlfriend Kumiko Okada at the street! He took the photo about them soon. He expected he could sell the photo for millions of yen. He got into the taxi after that. Then he looked another taxi next to his taxi and in a man who had a gun. The man tried to aim him. So the taxi driver stared to go very fast. He managed to escape from the man. He went to back to his flat later and everything in his flat was broken. He telephoned the police and two policemen came. But they were not good and went back soon. Later he went to Left Luggage at Tokyo Station and then he put the envelope with the film in locker93. The moment he went out of the station, a big fat man took him away. The man was Yakuza and asked him where the film was. He answered it was in Left Luggage at Shibuya Station and number42. The fat man put something over his mouth and tied his arms to the chair with ropes. He kept waiting in the dark room for a long time. The man came again and started to take the things off his eyes and mouth and take the ropes off. He thought it was chance to escape. So he pushed the fat man and managed to escape. Then he read the newspaper. According to it, Yakuza gang man Toru Sato killed in Tokyo Street. It was the street where he took the photograph of Takahanada and Kumiko Okada. He went to Tokyo Central Police Station soon. He told Chief Inspector everything quickly. And they went to Tokyo Station and there arrested the man. The man was murder and killed Toru Sato. Later, he knew the reason why he was aimed. Hiromitsu Shioiri and dead Toru Sato appeared on his picture with Takahanada and Kumiko!! He sold the photo for sixty million yen and became rich. So he began to live with his lovely family in the country.
This story is too long to summarize and too strange. I think this author is foreigner who makes an ironical remark about Japanese culture. I was surprised that this story looked fiction a lot. It makes foreigners have bad image for Japan. I don't like this story so much. Next time I want to read a good story about Japan!!

First birthday present

Today I went to my contact lens shop. And there I got the first birthday present!!

It was washing for lens.

I got a letter from the shop for one week ago. I got information about the birthday present.

But I didn't know what it was until I received it. I didn't expect it was good thing. When I received it, I thought it was proper present.
